It undergoes inorganic surface treatment with zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide, and surface modification with special organic treatment agents. It features a high blue - phase, easy dispersibility, high weather resistance, high hiding power, low oil absorption, good system compatibility, and excellent processing rheology. It is an oil - biased, high - quality titanium dioxide dedicated to plastics, as well as a general - purpose product.

Application Characteristics

Blue undertoneThe average particle size of R - 902 is close to the theoretical particle size of titanium dioxide. TiO₂ with a smaller particle size can scatter blue light more effectively than that with a larger particle size. Therefore, it has a bluer base phase and excellent whiteness. 
Excellent dispersibilityThe special inorganic and organic surface treatments reduce the contact between TiO₂ particles, enabling R - 902 to exhibit excellent dispersibility during application. As a result, it has good wettability and is easy to grind. 
Low Oil AbsorptionThe low oil absorption of R - 902 enables titanium dioxide to maintain good processing performance during its application in plastics. 
High Weather ResistanceR-248 adopts the zirconium coating treatment process, which improves the weather resistance and heat resistance of titanium dioxide, resulting in very stable chemical properties. 
Good System CompatibilityThe special organic surface treatment of R - 902 makes it very suitable for non - polar and oily systems, thus exhibiting good system compatibility in applications.
