Product Introduction
Rutile titanium dioxide R-999 is a kind of rutile titanium dioxide produced by the sulfuric acid process. It has undergone inorganic surface treatment with zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide, and surface modification with a special organic treating agent. It has the characteristics of high blue phase, easy dispersion, high weather resistance, high hiding power, low oil absorption, good system compatibility, excellent processing and rheological properties, etc. It is an oil-biased and high-quality titanium dioxide specially for plastics, which can be used in masterbatches.

Application Characteristics
Blue undertone:The average particle size of R-999 is close to the theoretical particle size of titanium dioxide. The TiO₂ with small particle size can scatter blue light more effectively than that with large particle size. Therefore, it has a bluer undertone and excellent whiteness.
Good Dispersibility:The special inorganic surface treatment and organic surface treatment reduce the contact between TiO₂ particles, enabling R-999 to exhibit good dispersibility during the application process. As a result, it has good wettability and is easy to grind.
Low Oil Absorption:R-999 adopts the zirconium coating treatment process, which improves the weather resistance and heat resistance of the titanium dioxide. As a result, its chemical properties are extremely stable.

Protection methodsWhen handling TiO2, gloves and a protective shield should be worn. In case of skin contact, this compound poses no danger, but it is recommended to wash the skin after use.
